    Everyone has their own opinion.

I think everyone's making it out to be something really really big when it's not even that important.

Wikipedia says the average temperature increase over 10 years is only 1 degree.

Global warming is happening. Ever seen An Inconvenient Truth, the documentary with Al Gore? It truly opened my eyes to what is happening in the world. Whether we want to admit it or not, the little things we do every day have a major impact in the world; such as driving cars, turning on the AC, even cows have an impact (cows release methane). All these things contribute to the harmful greenhouse gases and the burning of fossil fuels that are destroying the earth's surface and increasing the temperature. One degree may not seem like a lot, but in the long run, it could do some serious damage if we continue the way we are doing.

As for the ice caps, I don't know if they will eventually collapse, but they are definitely melting. Within the next 50 years, if they continue to shrink at this rate, then polar bears will unfortunately have no habitat. :(

Sorry to sound so dramatic, but I think global warming is happening. I'm not going to lie, it took that Al Gore documentary to make me realize what is really happening in the world. We can all do little things to help the current state of the earth, like recycling.

All's i no is the ice is going to melt and flood a few country's :noidea:

on the news the other day showed that the ice was melting faster than they thought.

i think its going to effect the seals and wild life.

    Glistening fangs and gleaming claws,
Teeth that pierce and jaws like saws,
Its blood red eyes that pierce the moon,
My fate is awaiting it will be here soon.
