It Is Like High School All Over Again
No, no it is not. Getting out in the work force and keeping a steady job is not like high school all over again. Going to college is not high school all over again. Paying your own rent, insurance, gas, and the like do not make for another high school experience. If you are out of high school and your parents are paying your bills, yes, I can see where college seems as carefree and easy as high school. Heck, I can see the similarity between one place of learning and another. I can see where holding a job and doing coursework are similar; it is as if one does work either way! High school was like experiencing a small sliver of a responsible adult's life.
You may keep on thinking, "No way, what about all the drama in high school?" Drama is everywhere, kiddos. Drama does not start in high school and when seeing it throughout your life, you should not think, "This is just like high school!" No, high school also gives you that taste of petty drama you are going to encounter everywhere else. No one mimics high school; when you encounter silly drama, cabals of elitists, and undeserved mistreatment of people through your life, maybe you should realize if it happens for over forty plus years, those short four years do not make much of an impact beyond an education.
