What are you afraid of?

I'm afraid of pain, physical pain, like on the rack. And my mother getting hurt, physical or psychic. That's it, I guess.

i do fear my family getting hurt i think that would be pain

on the rack means (I guess) when someone or something is torturing you and you can't influence it.

I'm afraid of the typical Erikson's theory of Integrity vs. Despair.

I don't want to look back on my life when I'm old and regret the way I've lived my life.
For example, I want kids and I don't want to have them when I'm too old but I have some hard to accomplish dreams/aspirations that I wont be able to enjoy as much when I'm the age of a retiree so I don't want to put it off that long so I want to be able to do it before I have kids, but they'll cost a lot of money so I have no idea how long it will take to be able to accomplish them, yah know? It's sort of a double edged sword.
