the day he felt his heart go weak,

was the day you stopped to speak.

all you asked,

a simple question.

but still his heart has not yet learned its lesson.

every time that you walk by,

it beats faster and faster,

to the point that he think he might die.

if you don't say a word to him,

then he might choke on his own tongue,

from lack of love.

he needs this now,

especially today,

after nothing has gone his way.

in the hall,

he sees you there,

and doesn't even bother not to stare.

all he needs is just a glace,

why don't you at least give him a chance?

you walk away,

and his heart sinks.

i guess he learned the hard way,

that love stinks.

another day has gone by,

he still can't put you in the past.

so he looks,

just once more,

to see you staring at the floor.

then,

as you're standing there,

he sees a drop fall to the floor.

the boy rushes to your rescue,

to make sure that your tear doesn't hit the ground.

a bit too late,

for when it does,

his heart starts to pound,

he's done it again.

made a fool of himself,

didn't even know where it began.

but instead of laughing in your face,

you just stand and twirl your lace.

then you look up,

into his eyes,

and ask him why he's been so nice.

and then he tells you,

loud and clear,

of how truly bad he needs you near.

you don't feel sorry,

not a bit,

but still you reach out and say,

i always wanted it that way.

i know you love me till the end,

but i just wanted to let you know,

this is where we begin.
