US$ dives on fears of financial meltdown



(SINGAPORE) Growing concerns about a US financial sector meltdown dealt the US dollar another vicious blow in Asian trading yesterday, causing it to tumble a dizzy 5 per cent against the yen, and propelling the euro and Swiss franc to all-time highs.
