Pernod wins auction to buy Absolut vodka



(PARIS) France's Pernod Ricard won a hard-fought auction yesterday to buy the maker of Sweden's Absolut vodka in a 5.63 billion euro (S$12.31 billion) deal, but its shares fell on concerns over the price.
