    Default Grades, classes? =)

    Well since this forum is quite worldwide (right?) I guess it could be fun if we discribe how your school works and something about it. =)

    Grades:

    IG = If you got that, you have no grade, you need to be on the lessons more.

    G = You're OK.

    VG = You're really good at the subject.

    MVG = It's the highest you can get.

    Classes:

    0 = 6 yrs

    1 = 7 -"-

    2 = 8 -"-

    3 = 9 -"-

    4 = 10 -"-

    5 = 11 -"-

    6 = 12 -"-

    7 = 13 -"-

    8 = 14 -"-

    9 = 15 -"-

    Our school is divided into two buildings, the old one and the new one, and it's sad because on the old one it's mostly rich people, and on the new one it's the more workingclass, and you see the differences quite clear, some smoke cigars and very expensive brands on the break-up.

    And I think this have caused a lot of "This is mine, this is yours!" on our school.

    What's the 0-9?

    Are those like each year?

    Here there are three different levels of schools..

    Elementary which is 5 years

    Middle which is 3

    Then High which is 4

    To complete your free education it's 12 years and you get a diploma, then you can go pay for college to get degrees..

    In Germany you go to elementary school (1 - 4 grade) and after you can choose between "Hauptschule" (easy), "Realschule" (middle) and "Gymnasium" (hard).

    1=6 -7

    2=7 - 8

    3=8-9

    4=9-10

    5=10-11

    6=11-12

    7=12-13

    8=13-14

    9=14-15

    10=15-16

    11=16-17

    12=17-18

    13=18-19

    In one federal state (Bavaria) school ends after grade 12. The pupils have to learn harder and longer at school then the others, but well ::
