A coworker of mine just got a mini schnauzer puppy. She has asked me for some food recommendations. I've told her to look at ingredients - and what to watch out for. My problem is that since I don't have small breed dogs, I don't know the size of the actual kibble of the different brands. I would hate to suggest a food for her that has huge kibbles that the pup can't eat. TO has really small kibble, so the size would be good but they don't have a puppy formula.
What foods would you guys suggest? I know that she doesn't want to go raw or homecooked, so kibble is what she's looking at. She said that her daughter picked up some food from the vet's office before she brought the dog to her (it was an easter gift), so I would assume the poor guy's eating Science Diet right now.
