why does New z have the same flag as Aus?

there not quit the same but we have the same queen i guess.
Glistening fangs and gleaming claws,
Teeth that pierce and jaws like saws,
Its blood red eyes that pierce the moon,

new zealand do not have that 1 big star on there flag.
yeah there stars are also red

Though they are extremly farmiliar they are Completely different too, and yes we have the same queen as Australia thought i don't know why we don't need a queen but meh.
