good hostels on east coast

hey just thought i would give a few recommendations to potential east coast travellers about where to stay.



Cairns: Gilligans, Global Palace or JJ's

Melbourne: Urban Central(city centre) or Base Backpackers (St Kilda)

Sydney: Harbour City or YHA

Brisbane: YHA or Bunks

Rainbow Beach: Dingos

Airlie Beach: Magnams

Byron Bay: Byron Lodge or Arts Factory

don't know all of these that you have mentioned but in Sydney, one of the best is Wake Up just near Central Station.



In Cairns, Global Palace is quite good. I would also recommend The Serpent (it's a bit further out but really nice and there is always a shuttle going into town whenever you need it)
