    Default Non-depressive suicide.

im from another site and came across this and thought i'd post it and hear your thoughts.

Do you have any problem with someone who is not depressed, or mentally ill killing themselves?

Do you believe that it should be up to a mentally sound person to end their life if they wish?

Hmm, my question is why shouldn't someone who is depressed be allowed to commit suicide?

this is kinda strange, but i guess if a person was sick say for 10 years and is suffering bad in pain and had no help left in this world to feel or get any better, then i would say it up to them. i dont think im answering your question, if a person is not depressed and has nothing wrong with them then i would say no confused...

I agree with Evil SS but also I think if anyone wanted to end their life then they would have to have some sort of depression or mental illness cos I can't imagine why anyone would want to end their life if they lead a happy and satisfying life. All people have problems from time to time but I really can't see how this COULD be an issue if there was nothing wrong.

Agreed. Any person who is at least a little bit happy will want to continue living. Thus, I can't give an answer to the question...

    Interesting thought, though.
