Ford vs Holden

what do you think?

I feel the Ford vs Holden arguement is beginning to run it self of the rails. On the race track they are not BA falcons and VY commodores, they are merely chassis with 5ltr engines and exterior panels to represent the current model. On the street however is a different story. Both cars running different engines, suspension, software etc. To watch a V8 race and bag out the losing team with the cars on the street is rediculous. I feel we should all be proud of our aussie V8 production cars as they now have the ability to knock over european cars. Americans envy us, the Brits dream of owning our V8 utes and sedans. And to think these machines are heavily under powered. I feel off the track Holden and Ford should battle the international market not each other..

very true but they are different in the chassis or why would they be looking at the controlled flor plan, they would already have it. with the rest of the car they are the same just different people make the same thing

For sure the other maker is allways.. buy a brand knew holden.. taking it back to the ford dealers and ripping it to bits finding everything thats different.. and learning how to copy and do better

i bought a brand new holden vive in November and the air conditioning doesnt work holden have tried fixing it. The first 5,000km they had to replace all my spark plugs, it chews through petrol its a crap car. I prefer fords now from my experience with holdens

its the petrol killing the spark plugs now, its not the cars fault really.

I change the plugs way before 5,000km regardless Thumbsup

Well ever since Holden has released there new VE everything has changed. I reckon it's THE BEST sedan in the world. it is so good I heard it's gonna get imported soon! HOLDEN RULEZ!

yep the ve is imported now isnt it, its the new chev model over theyr or sumthin. all i no is they go f*kn HARD my mum works for the govmnt. and she gets work cars to travell all up the coast to meetings and shit, and they trade in the cars every 40000km and they swaped hers for a brand new VE ss commodore, drives lyk a dream...

Its actually one of the worst cars out on the market. Im a Holden man myself, and my uncle is one of the designers that worked on the VE, and since the VE has been released it has been re-called twice for problems with a third recall on the way
