    go to the start menu control panel performance and maintenance

    administrative tools computer management disk management and change the drive letter from there

    click on d: change drive letter path and make d:/ your C:/ drive

    and see if that works out for ya..and then go see if you can install it.


    i tried doing that and it says "parameter is incorrect".



    ok i got it installed by getting an external hard drive but it still using the D: drive.so how do i make it only using the drive it's on?

    If you still want to figure it out
    If your on vista
    Start>right click computer>Manage>disk management>click on c drive and shrink volume down 5gb> then make the other partition bigger

    I had to do that because im dualbooting Hackintosh and Windows XP
