Question Help with choosing a college

Hello everyone, my name is Lindsay. I'm 18 and I'm from Delaware. I'm a college-bound senior and I have a very difficult choice on my hands right now.
First of all, I got accepted to every college I applied to, but now I just don't know which one to choose. It's down to two schools:
    1. Marymount Manhattan College and
    2. University of Delaware

The biggest issue here is money. We don't qualify for financial aid, because life isn't fair.

My first choice since last year was Marymount Manhattan. It's in the Upper East Side in New York City, and it's small and a very artsy school. I'm going to major in English with a minor in Creative Writing. Tuition is almost $35,000 (including room & board), which isn't bad for an NYC school or a college in general.

University of Delaware has always been a close second choice of mine. I live about 15 minutes away from the school, so it's always been there. It's a really big school, and right now it's Creative Writing program is under reconstruction. In-state tuition is nearing $20,000 (including room & board).

My parents made me the deal that if I go to the NYC school, I have to pay the difference myself. This means I'll be taking out loans and I'll be in debt as an 18-year-old. My parents want me to go to Delaware, plain and simple. They support, but I feel like they are more concerned about money then where I really want to go.

I've visited both schools multiple times, and I even audited a class at Marymount, which I loved. I just need to figure out if it's worth it. I don't want to make a choice that I think I'll regret. I know I want to get out of Delaware, that's for sure. If I don't, I feel like I'm gonna get stuck here like everyone else.

So if anyone can help me with advice, or even what they would do in this situation, please HELP ME. I have about four months until I graduate, so I need to decide soon and I'm really frustrated and confused. I feel like every adult I ask agrees with my parents just because of money, and it's really disappointing.

    Thank you,
    Lindsay

Well you're from the U.S are you an U.S. Citizen. If you are. Find some nice scholarships. Go talk to your counselors about this also. If you're smart then you can get grants. You never want to get loans. Also follow your heart and I'm sure you will find the college that is better.

Also... to add on to what kd said.... choose one that is more convinient to you... one that you think you can achieve a higher goal from in terms of finicial issues.... also choose one where its easier to get supplies or one thats maybe closer to home..... TO tell you the truth i will go to the one thats the cheapest... becuase i am sure that the teaching skills are all the same... and you can get that education from that same school than an expensive school..... i know you want to get away from home and stuff... but think of the bright side.. it cost less... you get your education..... after that you can go as far as you want......
