Question Can i copy-burn Blu-Ray with DVD drive?

Can i copy-burn Blu-Ray with just a normal DVD drive burner?
I'm am new to Blu-Ray, although I'm getting a new Sony Vaio laptop for birthday and it comes with Blu-Ray disc support and does the whole DVD/CD player/burner as well. Will the laptop be able to copy Blu-Ray discs and/or burn Blu-Ray files onto a blank Blu-Ray (or DVD-R)? Also, if my laptop can only play Blu-Ray and not burn or copy then where can I find a nice external Blu-Ray burner?

the drive in that laptop can only read bluray, not burn them, but it will burn dvds and cds. you can only burn bluray to bluray - not dvd. you will need software to decrypt and burn the dvds and an external bluray burner to burn bluray. i use dvdfab.
