    Eli knows;

    Come, sit,lay down, sit pretty,up(like, jump up on me or on a piece of furniture), He knows what bedtime means,He chases his tail on command,He barks and growls on command. If you tell him we're going for a walk he runs and grabs his leash even though he can walk perfectly fine off leash.

    The only things he has to work on is how to greet people and other dogs.
    He wasn't properly socialized as a puppy because we lived on a farm, so now that we live in a close knit subdivision, he needs to learn a bit better.

    Thank, and yes
    My husband likes to tell people it's after the guy in the movie "The Book of Eli", however, I thought of the name and I got it from Eli Nevaro from the Veronica Mars show. xD

    He's a Wolf Hybrid.

    The woman who sold him to us to us told us he was an Akita/King Shepherd mix but the blood work he had done at the vet told us otherwise. He's about 3/4 king shepherd and the rest is wolf.

    Which sort of contributes to his socialization problems too, however he's wonderful to the people/dogs he is able to get to know.
    Our neighbors have a nice little ****er spaniel mix named Molly, and we joke that she's Eli's girlfriend because usually he will bark and growl at other dogs until he's interacted with them several times, but Eli never got defensive with her at all. Every time he goes outside, he goes to our neighbors door so they seem him and let Molly outside to play. xD<3

    They are only cottagers though so they're only up for about half the year. Eli doesn't know what to do with himself now that they're gone for the winter. xD

    haha, thats orsm Eli's girl friend. never seen a dog half wolf, we only get half dingo here.

    its got me thinking, king shepherd vs german shepherd. wonder if the king shepherds have less hip problems, where ever 3rd pure breed german shepherd here has there hips strengthened. just looking at google images, king shepherds look more stronger around the hip area, correct me if im wrong.
