10% Feb output growth lifts hopes for Q1 GDP



INDUSTRIAL output grew more strongly than expected, boosting hopes of a firm GDP number for the first quarter. Manufacturing output expanded 10 per cent last month - albeit from a low 2007 base - with all industry clusters recording growth.
