should this person get help?
ok i was just reading this and wondered, should this person get help-
i've been shy my whole entire life. painfully shy. and its basically led to zippo-confidence. somedays i feel totally happy and normal but then the next day i might be holding back tears the whole day. the one thing i want more than anything is to have a great group of friends and to be confident about who i am. if i had those two things i would never wish for anything else.
CON-getting help: i ahve been trying to sort things about my whole life so i dont know if i will be able to do it on my own, but there is a possibility. and going to see a therapist would make me feel like crap. i would be so ashamed to be one of those people who needs "special help" so if i did go help, it would send me further into the gutter, or at least initially.
soooo... yes or no? please explain your choice. thanks

As strong willed some people may be, others need that extra help from some one. With this situation, I would say yes that they need some help. Whats to lose from getting help?
A bit off topic, but I had to help out a friend who was going through a nasty divorce. He kept dwelling on everything she had done to him and he was drinking every night till he passed out. It sucks to go through something awful alone.

you have done a good deed by helping him out ▫ЅëxŸБїŧĈЊ²³▫ thats very nice of you, sometimes if it was'nt for another persons help, who no's what would happen to them, it could even lead to death, people must get some help and avise from someone at least. as for this person the thread is about i think a little push in the right direction can go along way.
