    Default Wisdom teeth removal

I'm getting all four wisdom teeth pulled out next week. Has anyone done this before? I've heard many stories where the procedure went great, and other stories that were... well, horror stories. I got my premolar teeth removed when I was younger, so I guess I know what to expect, but for some reason I am extremely paranoid this time. I am the type of person that can handle pain pretty well, but I need reassurance this time; I just can't stop thinking about it. out:

I also demanded to not be put asleep; I'd rather have the multiple needles in my mouth. My dentist said I'll be listening to music so I wouldn't have to concentrate on the 'drilling" sound.

How did your procedures turn out? Am I overreacting?

are you crazy. 4 wisdom teeth pulled out one after another and you demanded to not be put asleep  if i was to stay awake i would need 3 bottles of jim beam lol.

maybe things are different these days but as far as i new they could not deaden teeth

that are in graved in side your gums.

am i aloud to ask why you have to have them pulled out?

are your wisdom teeth pushing againest your other teeth causing pain?

your to young to have this done. my wisdom teeth never showed till i was 27 and they were pointing in all different ways. by 30 they straitened up there self.

and also i have to heard some pretty nasty stories about wisdom teeth.

most cases here had there jaw dislocated to get to the teeth, im sure you will not want to be awake for that. not saying that will happen and its better than it sounds but your jaw always makes a clicking type sound for years after its done.

i have never heard about a case of 4 so good luck and stay brave.

The reason is because I had braces for four years. I have a wire at the back of my teeth to keep them in place once I got my braces removed. If it wasn't for that wire, my teeth would have been completely misplaced again because of my wisdom teeth that are growing horizontally. So basically I have to remove them now unless I want my teeth crooked again.

I did it! I feel a little wobbly because of all the drugs I had to take, but the procedure went great. I was singing along to the songs on my mp3 the whole time.

The dentist was surprised that I wanted to keep the wisdom teeth. Everybody else would throw them away.

    Haha, in my head obviously.

I'm not numb anymore so the pain is unbearable right now.
