Advise for Bad Dreams
Lots of people have bad dreams so this is a little avise for those that
have nightmares-
Nightmares are generally caused by stress or trauma. I'm not a hugh subsriber to psychological help for every single thing that goes wrong in your life (no offense to the mental doctors on the board). However, some people need more help with that than others. With that said, if you have a lot of stress in your life, take a vacation or at least a couple of days off from work. If you have the time, take up a hobby or a sport. If you've had some sort of trauma in your life such as a tragic death, domestic violence, ugly divorce in family, you may need to talk to someone about it. Even if the trauma happend a long long time ago, talk to a head doctor, a friend, a family member, etc. I guess the same could go for the stress. I'm an introverted individual and I generally like silence, so I'm not a hugh advocate of "sharing feelings" etc. Howver, I willl say that many people have come to me to talk about their problems or traumatic pasts and they have all said that they feel better and the ones who had nightmares also advised that they went away altogether or they did not have them as freaquently.
I've also heard from a lot of people that going to bed with a full stomach can cause nightmares, but that's never the case for me. There is an herb called Kava Kava (I think that's what it's called) that is suppposed to be good for sleep health and nightmares. If you're interested, you should talk to a health care professional about it.
i hope this can help anyone haveing bad dreams
