Im not sure about you, but after awhile, I get tired of seeing of all the recent programs thats in my Start Menu. So, I figure I would show you how to do this tweak in case you did not know it existed.

There are 2 ways to go about this.

Method 1

Right click on "Start" and go to "Properties" & the Start Menu Properties should come up. Most of you if your using Windows Xp, should have it on the "Start Menu Option". Click on "Customize" and a little window should come up. In the middle, there is a section called "Programs" and there is a option of allowing you to view how many recent programs are in your start menu. You can choose any number or put zero and it won't show anything at all.

Method 2

The same thing applies as above except you don't right click on the start menu. You go to "Start" > "Control Panel" & if you have it in Classic View, then click on "Taskbar & Start Menu" and follow the steps above.

If you have it in Catagory View, then do the following:

Click on "Appearence & Themes" & then at the bottom "Taskbar & Start Menu"

I hope this helps.
