    Default TEENAGE Pregnancies

Its a fact that teenage pregnancies have risen this year and last and keep going up. The youngest mum in Brittain is 11 years old. My question to everyone is what is the appropriate age to have *** and is the government doing enough to stop young girls falling pregnant. many times when a girl gets pregnant she blames the school that they didnt educate her proprely hmmm! true or not? confused...

The school has nothing to do with it. It's pressure. End of story.

As for the government, they suck. They're not going to do anything. So, don't expect anything from them.

11 years old????? A child raising a child. Thats so sad for both of them. I didn't have my daughter until I was 28y and I'm so glad I waited so long cos I got a good chance to experience lots of things that I couldn't have experienced with a child. I think teenage pregnancy is sad cos of that.

I have a freind who got pregnant at 17y and she blamed her kid for not being able to go out and other stuff. That was so bad for the kid. How could it be the kids fault?

I think parents need to be the educater in this one. In most things in fact.

i think parents get afraid fo telling their kids about that too early in case it encourages them, or maybe some dont think their child would do that, but really, kids need to know.

They need to know what a condom is and how to use it responsibly, when to waste one cos something might have got on the outside of it, whats healthy and whats not, how to say no and what to do if they get in a situation that they are pressured or in trouble.

One thing is certain in this though....teach kids if your not sure or not comfortable, walk away. You got nothing to lose by doing that.

It's very sad because that's the 11 year old's life ruined. She would have had to of done it with a 13 year old, right? Very young.

Not necessarily, just a male who was sexually active.

11 years old is very young for Western society, but in Western society it's not. It's all just social conditioning.

I blame it on the parents. Yes, it's easy for me to say because I'm not a parent, but we're all exposed to the same pressures and complications life throws at us, yet not all of us are pregnant teenagers, are we?
