i like my best friend

Ok, I like my best guy friend as more than a friend. We flirt with each other alot and we have so much fun together. We always tease each other and stuff. I think he likes me too but I'm afraid to ask him. I don't want our friendship or the way we treat each other to change if he does or doesn't like me. Any advice on this please?

In saying that, change is inevitable, everything and everyone will change in some way in time so if this relationship does happen to progress or regress, remember the fun you had before it did change.

BUT how can you not risk your friendship for a love relationship? who knows it might be great, awesome and if you don't risk it you might regret it forever! but then again i look at how old you are and i think to myself that it might be all puppy love because at 14 years old it's rare that it's serious relationships.

i do know a girl who has been with her bf since they were 14 and they are still together and she's now 18 so.. but again that is rare. at 14 you can LIKE someone, but you rarely if not never love that someone.

It makes me laugh too. Especially when their relationships last for like 3 days, but still it was "love"!
