WHY do people think that South Africa represents Africa?

It's pretty stupid and annoying. people around the world think that Africans ALL still use primative transport, ppl i know even have been asked if they ride elephants to school!?!?!

just watchin the Amazing race a while ago, some dumb ass is amazed that there are actually cities there.

and Jamaica ain't South Africa!!

It's also like saying everyone in Africa is black. In South Africa, the majority of people are white.
