Universities in China?

Does anybody know good Unis in China? I know Beijing University, but are there any other good ones?

My parents are thinking of sending me to China/Canada (Vancouver-UBC) in a few years, so I'm looking. It would be nice if you can give experiences or whatnot of someone you know studying abroad.
